No, not unless you use the Windows 95 Classic menu. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

The 2000 style Start menu is known as the Classic menu, it was first introduced in Windows 95, thats why I called it that. The XP style menu is what Vista comes with by default, just enhanced with a hierarchial structure (no cascading menus). Right click the Taskbar > Properties and check out the available options. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

the windows 95 menues are different from Win 2000 menues.
the windows 2000 one is NT based (win nt/me/2000/xp) while windows 95 is not. neither is 98. the nt based OSes all have the classic style menues or in XP it is called the classic 2000 style menu. i think the Win 95 and 98 menu styles are similar but they are different.

They are the same, but throughout each release they have had improvements. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

what I would like to see is have 3 options.
1) classic 2) XP style (which is the best one in my opinion) 3) the vista abomination (since they need something different to show to the world after 5 years, I can accept its existance since some people like it)
